Things to do (and eat)
Grab a coffee (or chai latte) at this motorcycle shop-slash-coffee spot before breakfast.
Grab a coffee and pick up a bag of Matt's favorite beans (dark roast!). Come back in the evening for a glass of wine and one of their famous charcuterie boards.
If you're looking for brunch, look no further. This French spot is our go-to for a gourmet omelet or breakfast sandwich. It's also home to Suze's dad's favorite croissant outside of Paris.
Bon Appétit and NY Times have both rated this brunch spot one of the top restaurants in the country - and we couldn't agree more. Go at 10 AM when they open and get one of everything. You won't regret it.
You can't miss The Maker! This gorgeous café on Warren Street is perfect for a light lunch or breakfast before a day of shopping. Think chickpea sandwiches, soups, and pastries.
This flower shop/restaurant right off Warren Street is ideal for a farm-to-table dinner in a super cozy environment.
A dark and cozy spot for dinner or a drink. It's a short walk from Warren Street and offers a delicious, locally-sourced menu.
Dubbed "the original farm-to-table restaurant," we love Swoon for its fresh dishes and relaxed environment. A great dinner option!
A delicious stop for artisanal groceries, prepared foods, and 10/10 breakfast sandwiches located directly across from the Amtrak station. Hit it on your way out of town!
You can't come to Hudson and not have a drink or a meal at The Maker. Come early for a drink at the stunning bar (their innovative cocktails don't disappoint) and stay for dinner in the beautiful atrium. This is our absolute favorite spot in Hudson.
If you love cheese and cured meat even half as much as Suze does, you're going to love this artisinal market located a stones throw away from Warren Street.
They carry everything from farm-fresh veggies to frozen, locally sourced cuts of meat. This market is a must-go before you leave town. They'll even pack your goodies on ice so they stay fresh for the drive home (we've done it!).
Hudson is known for its incredible antique and home good stores. Make sure you check them out - they're all along Warren Street for your convenience. A few of our faves are Gestalt, Minna, Clove & Creek, 314 Hudson, Magic Hill, and Finch.
Our favorite place near Hudson to hike. Kaaterskill Falls has tons of different trails of varying difficulty and some of the best views in the area.
A gorgeous history mansion on a hill overlooking the Hudson. Tour the house, walk the grounds, or hike one of the many trails.
