Pend Oreille Scenic Byway
If you are up for a drive, this 33.4 mile scenic byway is a great way to see the lake. There are a ton of pull offs to take a look around and take some pictures. It takes about 1.5 hours so pack along some snacks and have a picnic!
Lake Pend Oreille Cruises
If you want to go out on the water, this is a great way to do it. Cruise around, have a drink and take in the views from a different perspective. They also have private charters if you wanted to get a bigger group together.

Museum at the Brig
This museum is about the history of World War ll's Farragut Naval Training Station. It is located near the most southern part of the lake.

This brewery had two different locations in Sandpoint. One is a Beer Hall with live music weekends, games and tours of the brewery. The other serves brewing ales, root beer and serves pub fare.
Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is a 4 hour drive from Sandpoint. You can experience Glacier's pristine forests, alpine meadows, and spectacular lakes.
Tree to Tree Adventure Park
At this adventure park, you can zipline, rope swing, and climb around. Reservations are required but it is only a 30 minutes drive from Sandpoint in Athol, ID.

Ride the Hiawatha
If you like riding bikes, this is an amazing scenic bike ride. It is an all downhill ride with 10 tunnels, 7 sky high trestles and has a shuttle that takes you back up to the top. You will venture past mountain creeks, deer, elk, moose; and endless views of the towering Idaho/Montana Bitterroot Mountains. This is located 4 hours away from Sandpoint.
