Twin sister of the Bride, and her lifelong best friend. Always up for a glass of champagne - after a couple glasses, she will be the last one to leave the dance floor. The bride’s literal other half and go-to person, who always sees the best in her!
Cape Town ‘shroomal’, partner in everything since Uni days. If there is ever a crisis, she will be the first one to help you out. In their toughest GDA year, you could catch these two jamming the night away in Boogies and singing along to Miley Cyrus when they got home.
Bonded for life since their articles days and sharing a mutual love for Springfield. Claire Bear’s calm, laid-back personality and her kind, golden heart is what every bride needs on their wedding day. Claire was the first one down the aisle and has offered invaluable advice on all things “wedding” to the bride ever since!
Bride’s longest standing friend of almost 20 years - from grade 3 up until the wedding day, she’s stood by the bride through thick and thin. Her contagious cackle will warm your heart and can be heard from miles away. She is beautiful inside and out!
Bride’s Aussie Bestie and third triplet. A beautiful soul inside and out! Sam cornered the bride in UCT’s admin office during orientation and although she called her “Jess”, the three have been inseparable ever since – even oceans apart.
A little sassy but always has the most beautiful, cheeky smirk. You can count on her and her heart of pure gold! This brunette beauty has known the bride since their university days. She has a deep love for all of her friends and offers a safe space and judgement free zone for everyone to be themselves around her!
The bride’s other brunette beauty has such a joyful soul and is also always up for a catch up and a glass of vino. Katie sets the standards high, currently finishing off her MBA at London Business School. She is gorgeous, smart and has so much love to offer!
Best Man
Brother of the groom - his sport opponent to many fierce games of backyard cricket and rugby growing up. Tyron wasn’t sure of him at birth but quickly he became extremely protective over his little brother.
Prefers being referred to by his full name “Roberto” (with a rrrrroll on the r). He thinks he speaks fluent Italian but it’s very much a work in progress. Latest claim to fame is cycling from London to Lucca, Italy. A great friend to Ty since the days of Leo Marquad Residence at UCT.
The groom’s oldest friend, since grade 2. The two followed very similar paths from DPHS to Maritzburg College and roommates at UCT studying to be CA’s. Better know as “Jfil”, enjoys a gym sesh every so often but skips leg day (as you might tell). Multi-talented, one which may be revealed on the wedding day.
The groom’s training partner and doubles partner to some of his best races. South Africa’s newest marathon doubles champion - get his autograph. Ty’s partner in crime during his article days in Durbs and Ty’s JHB training partner and Dopio brekkie buddy.
The groom’s savior from “repatriation quarantine”. This friendship started with a few “pool time” chats to avoid the boredom in the Gautrain Radisson Blue hotel in Sandton. Their paths crossed again in Cayman where their friendship has blossomed. Runs, sports matches and plenty beach braais. Has a few grandpa tendencies so please keep an eye out for any yawns.
The groom’s adventure buddy. Spontaneous Dusi Canoe Marathons, downwinds, fishing and paddling trips to the US. Jason is always game. He’s not the most organized chap so if you see him puzzling or scratching around, please help the guy out.
The maid of honour’s other half and the groom’s soon to be brother-in-law. The man entrusted with hiding and handing over the ring to Ty moments before the engagement. Please hold your glasses tight when Brent is around, he’s known for dropping glasses and severing tendons. An easy-going guy, always up for a good time!
