Sitara and Prem's story started in the great city of Cleveland, OH when they were both in college at Case Western Reserve University (Go Spartans!). She first saw Prem in the common room of House 6 at dance practice for the annual Indian Students Association's Cultural Show. Impressed by his South Indian dance moves, they slowly became friends
Prem had graduated and left the great city of Cleveland for Alabama. After maintaining a long distance friendship for a year, on January 17, 2013 Prem finally gathered the courage to ask Sitara out to dinner (via Skype)
Life took Prem and Sitara around the country (mostly Prem). From Alabama ➡️ Kentucky ➡️ Michigan and Cleveland ➡️ Toledo. Prem and Sitara kept in touch via Skype dates, phone calls, and long drives to see each other
Five years later, Prem finally decided it was time. Prem and Sitara took a trip to Iceland in May of 2018. Knowing how much she loved traveling, he thought this would be the perfect opportunity to pop the big question. With the help of her family and friends, he planned the perfect proposal at Kvernufoss, Iceland ✈️⛰
