Getting Here
Most of you will probably be flying from the UK, so the three main airports for access to Florence are below. For those of you coming from further afield, please give us a shout if you need any help.
This is the closest airport to Florence and Villa Cora, about 15-20 minutes by car. There are daily direct flights to Florence Peretola from Gatwick (Vueling) and London City (BA).
A bit further out than Florence Peretola (obviously) and takes about an hour to drive to Florence. You can also take the train from Pisa Aeroporto station to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station (via Pisa Centrale), which also takes about an hour.
Pisa is bigger than Florence Peretola, so you have a greater choice of where to fly from. There are direct flights to Pisa from Heathrow (BA), Gatwick (easyJet), Luton (easyJet), Bristol (easyJet), Birmingham (Jet2), Stansted (Ryanair), Manchester (easyJet) and Liverpool (Ryanair).
If you want to pick up some authentic bolognese sauce on the way to the wedding, there are also flights to Bologna. It's slightly further out than Pisa, but you can take the high speed Italo train (in bright red) which only takes 40 minutes.
There are direct flights to Bologna from Stansted (Ryanair), Luton (Ryanair) and Heathrow (BA).
