Please do not use GPS, Google, or apple maps for directions to Homestake Lodge. These have the lodge misplaced and provide underivable directions!  

Please Follow these Directions!

It is a very easy, quick and safe drive to the lodge. Homestake Lodge is located just three miles off the I-90 Homestake Pass exit 233. Drive times from Bozeman and Helena are about 1 hour to 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Missoula is just 2 hours away, and Butte is only a 10 mile drive away. Once you get off the Homestake exit, head to the south side of I-90 and turn onto FS 240. This will be straight off the ramp coming from the Butte direction, and it will be a right off the ramp and then a left turn after crossing over the interstate overpass coming from the Bozeman direction. FS 240 road is in the opposite direction from Homestake Lake/Campground, and Lake Delmoe. DO NOT drive towards the lakes or you will be off on an adventure. At the beginning of FS 240, you will see a sign after the cattle guard that says "Homestake Lodge 3 miles". Drive down FS 240 for 3 miles. After 3 miles, you will go under the big electrical transmission lines and there will be a driveway on your right with another Homestake Lodge sign. This will be the road into Homestake Lodge.
