One reason we chose Mountain Lake Lodge as our wedding venue was because we love the idea of having our guests all in one place. Once you drive up the mountain, park the car and check-in, there is no need to leave. Feel free to pack some extra snacks, drinks, and adult beverages to carry you through the weekend!

For our out of town guests, you can fly into the Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA) and the drive to the lodge is approximately one hour. If you prefer a direct flight to Charlotte Douglas International (CLT), the drive will be approximately three hours.

John and I plan to arrive on Thursday, June 10 so that we can spend some extra time with our guests who decide to come early.

It is highly recommended that you book your room ASAP because this property is open to the public and filling up fast.

If you need further assistance, dial extension 463 to speak directly with our event manager Scott Lebrato. If you already had reservations for the previous wedding date, they were automatically transferred to the new date and a confirmation email should have followed.


There are a multitude of options from the main hotel lodge to various cabins around the property to best accommodate all of our guests.

Below is a detailed rooming list along with a property map that can assist you in deciding what accommodations best suit your needs. The rooming list does not include the 10% room discount that will be applied when you call and make your reservation under the Sisler-Willard Wedding block.

To secure your room/cabin, they will ask for a 50% deposit and then the remaining balance will be paid upon arrival. In the event of a schedule change, you will have up to 14 days prior to check-in to cancel your reservation for a full refund.

Everything is fairly close to the main lodge as well as the ceremony and reception locations. If driving from your cabin location is necessary, there is a parking lot beside Mary's Barn where the reception is being held.

Please note: There is a two night minimum to stay at Mountain Lake so if you are looking for a more cost effective option, there are plenty of hotel accommodations in Blacksburg, Virginia which is less than a 30 minute drive.

There are a couple of dining options inside the lodge including the Harvest restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also grab a drink or a meal at the Stony Creek Tavern.

As mentioned before, you can stop at a convenience store before you head up the mountain if you want stock up on extras for the weekend.
