When is the deadline to book our rooms?
The resort has set aside rooms for our group, and on June 16, 2023 those rooms are released back to the resort for them to sell at a higher, nightly rate.
Book now: contact Amanda at (248) 930-1859 or amanda@sharpetravelgroup.com
Even if you're unsure if you can attend or your exact travel plans, contact Amanda: she will tell you the deadlines to cancel or change your reservations.
Resort reservations can be made anytime (if they haven't sold out) by contacting our travel agent, Amanda. As more rooms are booked the rates will increase and the 3-night minimum stay requirement will increase - don't wait!
Sandos Finisterra is very popular and sells-out months in advance. Please keep in mind there are weddings at the resort every day, and all those guests will be booking the resort too.
Do we have to book through your travel agent?
It is HIGHLY encouraged/kinda required. We negotiated a discounted rate that includes transportation to and from the airport, so it's also your most affordable option.
Call Amanda to start the booking process, she can provide quotes based on check-in day, number of nights, and how many people are in your room. She can answer questions and help you decide which room-type will work best. Amanda can also help you book your flights!
The resort "requires" our group to book through a single source, and they reserve the right to charge you a fee if you book on your own. We haven't been able to confirm whether they actually charge the fee or just threaten to, so let's all book through Amanda and not find out.
Booking through an Online Travel Agency like Expedia, Booking.com, etc. is never, ever recommended.

Do we have to stay at Sandos Finisterra?
We look forward to celebrating with you all and spending as much time together as possible.
With that in mind, we urge you to stay at Sandos Finisterra because you will be charged a $100 per-person/per-day fee to enter the resort if you are not staying at Sandos Finisterra. This is also why we urge you to reserve your room ASAP, this is a very popular resort and sells-out in advance.
We chose Sandos Finisterra because it is one of the most affordable all-inclusive resorts in Cabo. We also reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate that includes airport transportation.
What does "all-inclusive" include?
- Lodging
- Food at the resort's 6 restaurants
- Drinks (including adult beverages) at the resort's 6 restaurants and 4 bars
- Room service & mini-bar
- Gratuities
- Resort activities
- WiFi
- Transportation to and from the airport (if you book our group rate)
What Will Have and Extra Cost:
- Premium alcohol & wine
- Laundry services
- Salon & spa services
- Long-distance calls
- Late check-out
How long should we stay?
The resort has a 3-night minimum.
Most people will likely arrive on Saturday, 10/7 and leave by Saturday, 10/14.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP ASAP. Our venue has limited seating, so if you're unable to attend we need to know so we have the opportunity to include more of our loved ones in our special day.
You can always amend your RSVP if your plans change.
There might be a waitlist for our wedding. RSVP by August 10, 2023 or we might give your seat at the reception to a coworker or our friend's kid.
What do I do if I can't attend? Will there be a reception back home?
We will miss you!
If you can’t make it to the wedding, please let us know ASAP and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
We have hired an amazing team to capture all the festivities, so even if you can't be there in-person you can still experience our wedding.
We will not be hosting a celebration "back home" because our friends and family are scattered across the country. We figured if everyone has to travel for our wedding, we might as well go somewhere fun! We tried to be considerate by choosing a destination that is affordable and easily accessible for the majority of our guests.
Can I bring a date?
You can bring whoever you want to Mexico! Please give the travel agent an accurate list of everyone you're traveling with, and RSVP accordingly.
We look forward to celebrating with everyone!
Are Kids Welcome?
It's a family-friendly resort! We're excited to see your children, and the resort has a kids club and babysitting services for when you want some adult-time in Mexico.
Children are welcome to the ceremony and reception, and there will be lots of other little ones for them to dance with!
Why do I have more than 1 RSVP?
Please RSVP for our wedding, noting only who will be attending the reception.
Please also fill-out the Wedding Weekend RSVP option, and update your RSVP when your travel arrangements have been made. Please include everyone you're traveling with, and indicate any plus-one's you would like to add to our reception waiting list.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Is it on a beach?
Our ceremony is outdoors. The reception venue is half covered, half open-air.
The wedding is not on the beach, it is on a plaza overlooking the bay. Both venues have even, tile flooring with incredible views.
What should I wear?
Check-out the events page for examples of what to wear for each event.
For the wedding, please wear your best "Resort Formal". Wear what you're comfortable in, or take the opportunity to go glam.
Gentlemen, please wear a shirt with a collar, and no shorts or sandals.
We kindly ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride (and the flower girl) - whites, ivories, etc.
Is it okay to take our own pictures during the wedding?
No. Please turn off and put away your phones.
We have a professional team capturing this important moment, and we would hate to have phones blocking (or interrupting) these moments.
We will share the photos and videos with everyone as soon as they are available. Of course, after the ceremony, take all the photos you want!
This website/app allows you to upload and share everything you capture, please use it! Thank you!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
The resort is accessible, with lots of ramps and elevators throughout the property. The ceremony is easily accessible, but the only way to the mountain-top reception is via 25 stairs.
If this is concern, please let us know; the venue provided pictures of the stairwell we can share. There is a landing half-way up, and we can request a chair be placed there if anyone needs to rest on their way up.
Will we be going off the resort?
This place has everything: restaurants, bars, a beach.
For those interested, the marina is right across the street and downtown Cabo is a short walk away! This area is known for its nightlife and has a safe reputation. When the reception ends, we will likely head downtown for the after party!
There are hiking trails and a swimmable beach within walking distance of the resort.
