Indian Clothes

...and we LOVE that so many of you want to wear traditional Indian clothes! We been getting a lot of questions on where to buy, so we've created this guide.

Please know that you are free to wear whatever you feel best in!

You're also not limited to the number of Indian outfits you can wear, but if you are only going to wear one we would recommend wearing it to the Sangeet. The Sangeet is bright, colorful and full of music and we'll definitely be getting our groove on.

Also don't worry about the Saree wrapping or how to wear your outfit. We'll have some ladies dedicated to your dress up needs!

If you can and want to go in person here are some Indian areas for major cities. If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry, just check the next section for some online shops you can order from.

Most places will allow you to customize your outfit, meaning the color, cut, and embroidery. If you do want to customize anything, it can take up to 4 months to receive and we would suggest going sooner rather than later.

It can be an experience and a bit intimidating going into these Indian stores and speaking with the "aunties" and "Uncles" (in India everyone is an auntie and uncle ;) working there. If you have any questions or need help please reach out to me (Shweta) and I'll walk you through it!

You can also buy online. Most pieces are coming from India so time of delivery can vary. We suggest you purchase sooner rather than later because it will take between 4-8 weeks. Some stores will take your exact measurements so it fits you perfectly! See the section below on how to take your own measurements.
