Who knew an introductory Japanese language course could lead me to a beautiful friendship filled with travel memories, hotpot dinners, and late-night girl talks? Sharon and I watched a film together before my first date with Peter. She was there on my first weekend trip with Peter and Peter's first trip with my parents. She even randomly bumped into us on the street when Peter first visited China. It's only fitting to have her as my bridesmaid on our wedding day.

Kejun (aka Kirk) has been my long-distance soul sister and my role model for years. Although this boss lady is living in New York, she never stops inspiring me with her talent and her entrepreneurial spirit. I cherish those beautiful memories we shared in Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Edinburgh, and New York. It means the world to me to have her by my side at my wedding.

Simone and I shared one class at uni and quickly bonded over our love for theatre! I love Simone for her huge heart, courage and incredible artistic gift. I could not have created my first theatre show in Sydney without Simone's support as an assistant producer. It is a privilege to have such a wonderful friend in life!

I’ve known Jono since kindergarten at Hurstville Grove Infants School. We bonded later in life over our love of music, creating the Nadin/Shanley Big Band as our outlet. Jono is making the trip from Canberra; I am truly grateful for his support.

Nick is my best friend from St Andrew’s Cathedral School. He has been with me through my formative years and into adulthood. We spend endless hours together when we were growing up - playing cricket, tennis, golf, and watching F1. I cannot think of a closer friend with whom I will share this important life moment.
