How did you meet?

September 2013, Tajshiek was visiting Atlanta (where I was living at the time) and saw a picture of me at our mutual friends’, Nadia birthday party. We spoke on the phone because he said I belonged on reality tv, and Tajshiek said he needed answers. The following day we coincidentally ended up at Nadia’s house and all went out for his brother’s birthday. We exchanged numbers, but didn’t talk until the following week, because he was trying to “play it cool”. After he came to his senses, we haven’t missed a day of talking since.

Where was your first date?

Tajshiek came from Birmingham to visit me in Atlanta. The day started off by walking through Centennial Park. This was when Shari noticed Tajshiek enjoyed the outdoors. (Shari, not so much. They laughed as Shari ran away from the tiniest bugs that would come her way.) The evening continued with ice skating at the park. After skating we capped the evening off at a coffee shop in midtown Atlanta, Cafe Intermezzo. We sat in a booth in the back corner. We talked and laughed for hours until the place closed.

The Proposal!

On Sunday, May 20, 2018, Shari was under the impression that she and Tajshiek, along with his family were going to start the beautiful day in Philadelphia with brunch. They arrived inside of the restaurant and the hostess escorted them to a private area. The doors opened, Shari was confused but excited because she saw friends and family all around the room. Tajshiek, standing behind Shari, tapped her on the shoulder. When Shari turned around, Tajshiek was on one knee. He told her how much he loved her and then asked “Will you Marry Me?". Shocked and gasping for air, SHE SAID YES!
