How We Met
We met in 2016 in Sydney, Australia when Shannen was travelling with her best friend Siobhan Chaney (living at Billy and Cathy Meaney's - forever grateful to you two) and Adam was visiting his best friend Scott Rive and Shane Byrne (formerly Shannen's friend) now both our best friend!
Shane and Scott would very kindly host us on the weekends, Shannen & Siobhan's Coogee beach house, and even on weekends that they didn't receive an invite, they would turn up with their suitcases anyways much to their disappointment.....
Things progressed when Shannen made the first move at The Pavillion, Coogee. Adam then bolted, exited stage left and Shannen & Siobhan went for a drunk Maccy D’s date - a dream ending. Adam was forced into a date when Shannen bobbed her head up from the sofa the next morning, cornering him to ask 'So when are you taking me on a date then?!?' which then followed dinner at Sydney Opera House.
Sadly saying goodbye to our friends in 2018, (when Adam wouldn't accept the offer of sponsorship) we took the leap and moved to Jersey. Two apartments later, some stints at Adam's parent's (thanks again!) we are nearly at completion to begin our new chapter in our new home.
We've had some amazing travels together including America, Iceland, Mexico, Ibiza, New Zealand, Italy and even a trip to Turkey for Shannen's new nashers.
We've been on the best adventure, meeting the best people along the way and we can't wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!
Now it's time for us to slow down, move into our new home and save for this wedding!! :) Are you still awake after all of that?!
