Parking Info

Church Parking

There is parking at the church, but it is limited to about 35 spaces, so if you get there early you may be able to grab one, but if not there is paid street parking all around the church, and it's only a 10 minute walk from the main car parks in the centre of Southampton.

Marwell Parking

There's like a million spaces, so don't panic.

Things to Do

If you have the weekend in Southampton, or haven't been invited to the wedding breakfast, there's plenty to do!

Ocean Village

You can visit the Marina at Ocean Village, just 5 mins walk from the church, where you can grab drink at one of the bars and look at all the lovely expensive boats.

The Common

If it's a nice sunny day, why not take a walk in the Southampton Common, a huge park right in the middle of the city! This is where Rachel and I spent most of our time getting to know each other during lockdown, so you can get a real flavour for the natural beauty and police sirens that became the landscape for our dating life.

West Quay

West Quay is the shopping centre in the middle of town, with some fancy shops and restaurants, a cinema and an Ikea!

Golf

There's some top notch golf courses in Southampton, and the surrounding area, but there's also an excellent mini golf course in Hedge end! it is on the way from the church to the reception, so an ideal stop off to work on your putting and brush up on your dinosaur knowledge (it's dinosaur themed!!)

Places to Stay

There's lots of places to stay if you don't want to stay at Marwell, we would recommend staying either in Winchester or Eastleigh and driving into Southampton for the wedding, as your journey from the reception will be shorter then! here's a few places Tripadvisor recommends:
