02/28/2021 Update

Due to the current Covid related restrictions in Maui, especially with the capacity restriction at our venue, we had to make the hard decision of moving our wedding date or cutting our guest list substantially. Long story short, there is absolutely no f*$%-ing way we’re celebrating our wedding without all of you beautiful people!

With the help of our wedding planner, we were able to secure all of our vendors for the weekend of October 15th, 2021. The Welcome Dinner will take place on Thursday, October 14th, and the ceremony will commence Friday, October 15th. We are optimistic with the improving numbers and are confident that this is the last time we will be writing to notify of another postponement.

We hope you're still able to join us in Maui on our new date. We cannot wait to finally get married surrounded by all our loved ones followed by one hell of a party.
We will be sending out more details as they come.

For those who have reservations at Honua Kai, the hotel has been notified and will accommodate any changes needed to your reservations.

07/27/ 20 UPDATE

We wish we were sending out final details for our upcoming wedding, but once again we’re reaching out with another postponement.

Currently Hawaii is still requiring a 14 day quarantine upon arrival. Plans to lift this requirement with a negative COVID-19 result has been postponed with no definitive answer on when this would be enacted. With this uncertainty, and the fact that our wedding venue, Merriman’s, is still closed, we have decided to postpone to May 28th, 2021.

For those with reservations with the group booking at Honua Kai, the hotel is aware and ready to change all reservations. Feel free to either reach out to the hotel yourself, or let us know your new dates and we can coordinate with the hotel to re-schedule. Honua Kai has honored the same pricing for the new dates, so no changes in cost should incur.

We hope everyone is staying healthy, finding time outdoors, and enjoying some summer when possible. New invitations will be in the mail soon with details of the new date. You can also find up-to-date information on our website. We both feel that after all of the delays, and the stresses of the last 6 months (and coming months) we are all going to be ready for one hell of a party!

We're getting married in the Lahaina / Kaanapali area of Maui

The wedding ceremony is on Friday, October 15, 2021. We will be hosting a Welcome Party on Thursday, October 14th. 

Kahului Airport (OGG) is the Maui’s main airport. There are two smaller commuter airports as well: Kapalua Airport (JHM) in West Maui and Hana Airport (HNM) in East Maui. Many airlines offer non-stop flights direct to Maui. You may also fly into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu before heading to Maui on a short, 30-minute flight. There is also daily ferry service to and from the nearby island of Lanai.

We've secured a group room booking at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa located in Kaanapali North Beach. Honua Kai is a beautiful resort that we've stayed at before, and we're excited to visit again.
