Historic and beautiful, The Stewart House sits right on The Hudson River in Athens, NY. For a luxurious and special hotel option, we recommend staying here, but book early because there are only 9 rooms. This is a convenient location because it's where we are gathering for drinks and music on the night before the wedding and where we are gathering for brunch on the day after. If you book, please mention you are part of the Petzel/Kamin wedding. Note: 2-day minimum.

Only a 4 min drive from our venue, this is a solid local hotel. Use the code WEDDING for an 11% discount. We will have a shuttle from this hotel to and from Owls Hoot Barn on our wedding day.

For a more upscale boutique hotel option, we recommend the Woodhouse lodge. Book soon since it's small and fills up fast.

Affordable and charming, this is a quirky and rustic option nearby. There are cabins available as well as traditional motel rooms.

There are quite a few nice Airbnb's in the area. Owl's Hoot Barn is in Coxsackie, but you can also look in Climax, Earlton or Athens which are about 10-15 mins away. Hudson is also a great place to stay but is slightly farther (20 mins away). Let us know if you need help finding an Airbnb!

The closest airport is Albany International Airport, about 35 mins away from Owls Hoot Barn. There are taxis at the airport that can bring you to Coxsackie, or Lyft is available in the region.

From NYC, you can take Amtrak to the Hudson Amtrak Station. The ride is 2 hours long. From Hudson, take a taxi or Lyft ( 25 mins) to Coxsackie.
