Their story began in 2012, even before they knew of each other's existence. Sounds strange right? But, it really was written in their stars to meet.
Ankrish was all set to go to the Penn State University in USA and Sargam was all set to go to UCLA, USA. All formalities were complete and they just had to get on to their flight. However, just a few months prior to them leaving, their parents decided that USA was not ideal for them and they shouldn't go and eventually they listened (for once in their life) and stayed back. Somehow, they both ended up going to Singapore to the same university.
Well, from here, there are two versions of the story - Ankrish's version and Sargam's version.
In Ankrish's version of the story, he met Sargam for the first time outside a Bollywood club (see how important Bollywood is in their lives!!) holding her friend's heels and talking on the phone (the usual Ankrish behaviour) and eventually they both ended up talking to each other. Ankrish was the social bird while Sargam never used to speak to anybody so it really was a surprise when she decided to speak to him. Eventually they became friends and Ankrish would make Sargam do all his assignments and somewhere between the assignments and the meetings outside clubs, he fell in love.
Sargam's version of the story starts the same with both of them meeting outside a club but it obviously changes as it progresses. She says she noticed him before in their college as he was wearing a stark mustard pair of jeans (shocking for a girl who only dresses in black) and was really amazed. She then asked who he was from a common friend of theirs because except for the mustard pants, he seemed quite cute. On getting to know him a little, she realized he was the typical boy from Delhi; very social, obsessed with his phone but knew exactly what to say to whom.
Over time, they started hanging out a lot and everyone around them knew something was brewing, except them of course. Until one day, one of their common friends decided it was time to make them realize and the rest as they say is Love...
As personalities, they're like chalk and cheese (except for the mutual admiration for Bollywood) but together they definitely are #SankiInLove with each other!!
