We hope you get some time during your stay to explore Altea! Here are some of our favourite restaurants, bars and beaches. Remember it is normal to eat out in Spain at 11pm at night and it is best to book ahead. Beaches in Altea are mainly pebbles (home from home for Brighton folks) so bring beach shoes if you have them, or you can buy them here. Enjoy! X

Natural beach with its very own island you can swim to! Our favourite stretch of beach (still pebbles) in northern end of Altea with an unspoilt vibe and beach chiringuitos. 15 mins walk from Hotel Cap Negret.

Beautiful 5km walk through National Park (Albir). Take a taxi to the "Faro, Albir" (10mins) or walk from Altea (45mins). The National Park is gorgeous with incredible views across the bay. Stop for a beer after on the seafront in Albir!

Huge sandy beach and home to Plant Shack 2! Take the tram ride from Altea (15 mins) which winds through the mountains (a lovely trip in itself) then jump on the free bus to the beach. Pop into PlantShack Calpe whilst you´re here :)  Easiest to get a taxi home (20mins) 20€
