Emily Schmidt
Maid of Honor

Sarah's Sister and MOH. This flower child is a brunch eater extraordinaire, workout enthusiast, a bit geographically challenged, and has crazy spock ears, but we love her anyways.

Maggie Schmidt
Maid of Honor

Sarah's Sister and MOH. She is a force to be reckoned with but also as sweet as can be. But don't ask her to do her version of an Irish accent. Or any accent for that matter.

Alicia Starr
Bridesmaid

Kyle's Sister and Sarah's Future Sister-In-Law! She's an animal loving, rainbow wearing, rocky horror performing, singing sensation and harry potter fanatic who doesn't have a boring bone in her body (so Kyle's opposite). She'll wake you up with a spectacular rendition of Rusted Root's Send Me On My Way and cheers every mimosa in song. It's mimOsa not mimosA!

Maya Herm
Bridesmaid

This is Maya - Sarah's friend from High School. She's a field hockey pro, brainiac without being annoying about it, world traveler, and all around badass. Sarah and Maya dream of creating their own sports camp. Look for Saya Sports Camp coming to a city near you. Oh and if you are ever playing hangman with her, the answer is Thumbelina.

Nealy Griffith
Bridesmaid

When you meet Nealy, don't let her calm demeanor fool you. She's traveled the world, climbed the JP Morgan latter (I mean, doesn't this picture scream investment banking!?), speaks Spanish and Russian, and can recite most lines from Friends. Sarah and Nealy met freshman year of college playing lacrosse, bonding over their apparent RBF. Although their college athletic careers were short-lived, they will be friends foreva and eva. #LAXORDIE?

Alysia Rodgers
Bridesmaid

For anyone who has yet to meet this incredible human, here is a pronunciation hint: 'Ah-LISH-Uh', or just lish. Sarah and Alysia met sophomore year of college when rushing for DNU, and learned they were coincidentally both from Bethesda. After living together Junior and Senior year, they both wound up in DC post-grad, spending lots of time dancing at El Centro and going on double dates in Belize.

Sarah Shepard
Bridesmaid

Sarah and Sarah (better known as Shep and Schmidt) started working at Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation on the same day, and became fast friends. Since then, they've traveled abroad together (including Dublin!), are semi committed to a book club, and are rush buddies. Oh and Lambeau likes her too.

Brad Eck
Best Man

Ladies, control yourselves, it's DJ BJ Eck!  This is Brad, aka B-rad, aka DJ BJ,  the Lloyd to Kyle's Harry.  His middle name is just the letter J, he loves country music, the dinosaur Velociraptor, and making other peoples tee shirt's cut offs with his teeth (he's really good at it).  Brad and Kyle have been best friends since Elementary School when they both chose a year of detention over taking choir. Brad also spitefully broke Kyle's arm in middle school on purpose.  Some friend he is....

Dillon Tedesco
Groomsmen/Officiant

Drew looks...at me...This is Dillon aka MBT or BTT. The wedding's officiant. Dillon introduced Kyle and Sarah in Bethesda MD in 2013 by saying "Hey Sarah you're a blonde. Kyle loves blondes!"  Dillon has always looked out for Kyle's best interests. If you're going to have anyone officiate your wedding, it should be someone who you've been friends with since elementary school, has impeccable dance moves, and outstanding taste. You better believe this ceremony will be peppered with jokes at Kyle's expense. Sarah approves.

William Schmidt
Groomsmen

One of the few people in the groomsmen party that has hair is Sarah's baby brother. While his legal name is "William," he only goes by "the almighty" or "Sir." So if you see him at the wedding, please address him as such. Also, if you see him, hand him a beer, because legally he can drink in Ireland.  Or don't, I don't know ask Liz and John.

Ian Trucco
Groomsmen

This is Ian, Kyle's friend from Colorado. He works at a college as a janitor even though he feels like he's smarter than most the people who go there. Sometimes he sees an equation on the blackboard, like half an equation and he just figures it out.  Kyle and Ian met in college and became great friends when he moved out to Colorado.  Ian calls Kyle every Friday on his way home from work, like clockwork.  It's annoying.  Stop doing it Ian! (from the narrator definitely not Kyle).  When you see Ian ask him to pronounce "Both".  It's a fun game.

Zach Wahl
Groomsmen

Although he may not seem it in this picture, Zach is an avid rock climber.  He was the first to free solo climb El Capitan in Yosemite National Park and there was a documentary made about him.  He is also one of the founder fathers of the Banker's Club, which is a more impressive attribute. Zach and Kyle have been best friends since Middle School when Zach transferred from a different school.  They lived together in DC and both share the love of music, sports, and clothing. Seriously, whatever Zach is wearing right now Kyle also owns.  Kyle tries to convince Zach to move out to Colorado all the time.  He should listen.

Alex Kin
Groomsmen

Alex Kin aka APK. This Star Wars fan, pun extraordinaire, bacon lover, bearded city dweller spent 10 solid years adventuring with Kyle, exploring all of DC's neighborhoods. He was there to witness Kyle and Sarah's beginning stages of their relationship and was always down to watch Childish Gambino's Freaks and Geeks music video or hit up a show at 930 club. Alex said he will become a flat earth believer just so he doesn't have to pay for roundtrip airfare. Scree!

Jared Cowen
This is really just a mutually beneficial dog sitter relationship.
Lambeau
Goodest Boy
Lambeau & Guinness were the only reasons we were considering having a wedding in the states. They would have made a fantastic ring bearers.
