Family means the world to us and with our marriage we will be formally joining two families as one, in front of our loved ones.
We welcome all parents to bring your babies and children to share in our weekend. We have included them in our guest list and have an accommodation plan to provide for everyone.
However, we definitely understand if you would rather have a weekend away without your little ones. Just let us know your decision by selecting your family's attendees in your RSVP.
2pm
Accomodation will be ready for you to check in from 2pm. On arrival find your accomodation and unpack in your own time. Explore the property, go for a bush walk, check out the Activity Area or just relax with a book, have a swim (!) or simply enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery of Kangaroo Valley.
5pm ~ 6pm
Please join us at the Pergola for a few pre-dinner drinks to catch up with each other and start our wedding weekend celebrations. BYO as the Venue isn't licensed to sell alcohol.
6pm ~ 8pm
We've arranged a casual BBQ for Friday evening. Mingle with family and friends in the Al-Fresco area, share some food, join in the fun at the Activity area with Boules, Finska, Rings, Table Tennis and Giant Jenga. We'll have kids movies playing in the hall to keep the little ones entertained when they get tired.
The Ceremony and Reception will both take place on Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. After the Ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy a short stroll along a meandering bush footpath leading from the Rock Cathedral to the stunning Sunset Deck for Drinks and Canapés. This reception will last for approximately 90minutes leading into dinner.
Please note that walking around outside at our venue you will be using various stoney pathways, bush trails or gravel surfaces. Therefore we recommend wedges or flats, as some of the walkways could be tricky with high healed shoes. The Bride will of course be ignoring this advice and wearing her trademark heels.
It can get a little chilly in the late afternoon and evening as we are nestled into the top of the Valley. To combat any risk of discomfort, please consider bringing a light jacket, shawl or wrap for the late afternoon.

No doubt you will all wake up at various times in the morning, some seeking coffee and quiet time, others an energetic walk to the river. Whatever your vice, there is nothing we'd love more than a final get together with all our family and friends over a deluxe recovery brunch prepared and served by our caterer in the reception hall. A perfect end to a perfect stay xx
