Samantha & Shamit
June 28, 2022
Welcome
We’ve created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding. We will add more details on the events and accommodations, as well as the RSVP tab closer to the date.
We appreciate that Italy is not an Uber ride away, so we thank you for your ongoing love and support regardless of if you are able to attend or not. We hope that this can be an excuse for our favourite people to get to know one other and enjoy the food, wine, and culture that Italy has to offer.
We look forward to dancing the night away with you in Italy 2022.
Love,
Sam & Shamit

Link to location
Castello di Petrata is a 14th Century ancient fortress.
The history of the Castello di Petrata is rooted in the medieval times, in 1340, the year of its construction along the Franciscan path that connected Assisi to the nearby village of Gubbio.
In the 15th century, it was turned into a fortress by Sperello Sperelli, to defend itself from the Baglioni.
After the period of jurisdiction of the Sacred Convent, it was transformed into a country house by the Tini family at the end of the sixteenth century and three centuries later it was first acquired by the Affuso family. In 1996, Romualdo Landrini and Giuseppina Orbi restored the structure to what we admire today.
