WEDDING WEBSITE FORMAT
Covid Info - Entry Documentation

PLEASE READ THIS BIT

BEFORE you arrive in Croatia you must have completed a pre-departure form via the website - Enter Croatia Form - MUST COMPLETE

This must be completed within 48hours of arrival in Croatia.

You also must have documentation for the accommodation you have booked for the duration of your stay in Croatia upon arrival.

In addition to this you MUST ensure you have at least 6 months on your passport in order to travel to EU member states from the UK as part of the Brexit agreement.

Also a little note on insurance, the FCDO have a separate list of 'safe to travel countries' compared to the governments traffic light list. FORTUNATELY, for us Croatia features on both GREEN lists meaning your regular insurance is still valid. If you would like to purchase specific insurance which should cover you against any traffic light systems change then the companies that have been widely recommended are: campbellirvinedirect.com/CIDirect/ , www.staysure.co.uk , www.battleface.com/en-gb/ - select the FCDO extra option.

Let us know if you need any help with any of this!

Covid Info - Entry Requirements

PLEASE READ THIS BIT TOO - Updated 22nd July

Currently as of writing, Boris has given us the GREEN light to travel to Croatia for the wedding this summer! YIPEE INDEED! I have searched high and low for a number of days now and all the information I have gathered is below. Please do make sure you verify this info yourselves just so I don't get any bills sent back to me for incorrect info!

1. You can fly to Croatia if you meet one of the following criteria:

*a negative COVID-19 antigen not older than 48 hours, OR; *a negative PCR test result not older than 72 hours, OR; *proof of a vaccination - 2 doses with the second administered at least 14 days prior to travel (we highly recommend printing a physical copy of your Covid Travel Pass - requested on the NHS app and sent via email), OR; *a doctor’s certificate of recovery following a positive test result between 11 and 180 days prior).

2. If you do not meet the criteria above then you will arrive in Croatia and have to take a Covid test and isolate for 48hours whilst you wait for the results.

3. Children under 12 and accompanied by a parent/guardian are exempt from the requirement to present a negative test result, and to self-isolate, if the parent or guardian has one of the documents set out above.

4. NEW INFO ADDED 22nd July - as of the 26th of July all UK nationals will have to have a negative antigen test before travelling to Croatia. This test must be completed, same as in the next session which was previously required to travel back to the UK, by a private company and NHS testing is not accepted. You must have a negative test that is no older than 48hours.

Please ask us if you need any more info as we are in constant contact with our wedding planner. All the info you need is on either of these sites below:

Covid Info - Flying Back to the UK

Oh and lastly PLEASE READ THIS BIT AS WELL! - UPDATED 26th JULY

Getting back into the UK is slightly more complicated than travelling to Croatia believe it or not!

With Croatia currently being a Green list country the entry requirements are below, this would remain the same for those who are fully vaccinated should Croatia return to the Amber list:

1. Requirement 1 is that you complete the UK Passenger Locator form - Passenger Locator Form (Must Complete before travel) 48hours before you arrive in the UK. This must be completed individually apart from kids under 18 who can be included in associated adults.

2. All passengers aged 11 or over must take a Rapid Antigen test up to 48hours before travelling back to the UK. These can be taken away with you and verified by the company in order for you to fly back to the UK. There are multiple options for these tests below.

3. All passengers returning to the UK must take a COVID test within 3 days of arriving back in the UK. The Test type accepted are: a nucleic acid test, including a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or derivative technologies.

This is applicable to all travellers aged 4 years or older.

There are multiple options for these tests - they must be done via a private company, NHS tests are not acceptable.

It is possible to get a Rapid Antigen test at 3 locations in Split - The airport (£21.33, not available to book ahead, open 7am-7pm), Split Health Centre - 10mins from Split centre (£21.33, not available to book ahead, open 7am-7pm), Split Teaching Institute for Public Health - walking distance from Split centre (£21.33, IS available to book ahead - Split Covid Test Booking System , open 7:30am-3:30pm)

It is also possible to take a Rapid Antigen test with you on your trip and complete the test where you are staying before you are due to leave for the UK. It must meet the EU regulations and provide you with certification for fit to fly status. Here are some I have had a look through and the first link is to a Which.com page with various discounts available depending on your airline, they are roughly all between £35-£40 for the take-away with you Rapid Antigen Test:

4. Upon your return if you are currently double vaccinated you will NOT be required to quarantine, although you must have a PCR specific COVID test done within the first 2 days of your arrival. Again all the same links as above can be used for booking this and again airline specific discounts can be found here - Which List of Covid Tests providers and discount codes

I know it seems overwhelming but hopefully its all laid out for you here to check what you need to do to join us next month!

We appreciate the effort SO MUCH!
