Early Birds: Our wedding ends at 12AM and we would love to have everyone stay for the last dance. But if you need to head back early for your beauty sleep we have a shuttle for you. Starting at 11:30 PM we will have a smaller shuttle that will make trips back and forth between the Mansion and the Viana Hotel. Head outside at 11:30 to grab this earlier shuttle.

Travel to and From the Wedding

From Manhattan

Train from Manhattan
You can take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station in Manhattan.
You can take the train to either Hicksville or Syosset.
Both stations are about an hour train ride from Manhattan. You will then need to take a quick Uber or Lyft to The Mansion at Oyster Bay The drive from Hicksville is 12 mins and Syosset is 7 mins. Hicksville has trains running more often, but Syosset is closer to the Mansion. Syosset is also a quieter station and may be easier for the Uber to find you.

Taking the train will avoid any rush hour car traffic. Our wedding is on a Friday night so this is something to consider. Also note because the wedding is on a Friday, the train may be crowded during rush hour.
If you have never taken the Long Island Rail Road, reach out to Christina with any questions!

If you land during rush hour you may want to consider the the train. JFK has an Airtrain that will take you to the Jamaica Long Island Rail Road Stop. You can then take the train to either Hicksville or Syosset.
Both stations are about a 30 train ride from Jamaica . From the stations you will then need to take a quick Uber or Lyft to your hotel or to our wedding.

LGA - LaGuardia Airport

LGA is about a 40 min drive from The Mansion at Oyster Bay and our recommended hotels with no traffic.

Keep in mind with traffic the drive could be much longer. Unfortunately there are limited train options from LGA. The best way to get to Long Island is cab, Uber or rental car.

ISP - Macarthur Airport

Macarthur Airport is about a 30 min drive from The Mansion at Oyster Bay and our recommended hotels. It is a smaller airport so it has limited flights. Southwest has flights into this airport.

Awesome Ramen right near Grand Central Station.

Pizza

Joe's Pizza

Marta has "fancy" pizza. They are known for their cracker-thin pizza. We would recommend making a reservation here.

Di Fara Pizza
Di Fara has the best in NYC, but you need to make a trip over to Brooklyn to try it. Expect a long wait, but its worth it.

Bars

McSorley's Old Ale House
New York City’s oldest continuously operated saloon.
McSorley’s is truly a NYC experience. They only serve dark and light beer. If you want to make new friends, sit at a communal table in the back.
