Lis and I studied at Red and Yellow College together for 3 years. We both pursued yachting after college and it's been an absolute dream seeing her around the world in many different places. She is the most kind, generous and loving friend!
The Lo to my La. Lo is my sister from another mister. We met at a Sedgwicks Old Brown Sherry Campaign and instantly clicked. A massive vibrant energy, always a jol to be around and an amazing friend!
My high school bestie! Nics has been a dedicated friend for many many years and most of my best memories from school involve her! She was the best high school mischief partner although that usually just involved tormenting my mom and making her do crazy things.
My right hand girl, Cierra and I worked on a yacht together and were roomies. This allowed us to become the best 'Cabin 3' buddies. She is always there for the best advice and brightening up the dimmest situation.
My Tim-Tam, the one with the cheesiest jokes never failing to make you laugh even when you don't want to. Tam and I also worked on a yacht together and even though she was in a different department, it never stopped us hanging out every chance we got. Never a dull moment when Tam is around!
Best Man and cousin. We've been inseparable since little kids and always up for a game of touchies or volleyball on the beach. Our parents frequently had braais at each others houses and when the time came to go home, we would always pretend we were sleeping just so that we could have a sleepover.
Say no more, ADK is where it all went right (and wrong) for me. AdK was one of my house leaders at University, the man I looked up to and respected. And boy o boy what a time we had together. I managed to squeeze in my 3 year degree into 4 years. Needless to say it was the best of times and it was the worst of times.
Werner and I have been friends since high school. We both loved a good action cricket game, and would actually win most of the time. Not too bad for a bunch of jokers. Werner is by far my most optimistic friend, a fact I love about him. After moving back to Cape Town in 2017 we reconnected and carried on where we left off. It never feels like I've left.
Christo and I have come along way from our University days to our working days (and festival days) in Johannesburg and Africa. Eventually we started living together for 2-3 years in Cape Town before I left for the yachting world. We both love wine (tours) and jogging.
Frank and I met in yachting and have been working together on the same boat for the past 2 years. We have an ongoing bromance which Lozzie isn't too fond of... he always gets me into trouble with her. Thinking about it, she might have a point.
Marco Swart, that's his sober name. 'Swart Marco' when he has had a few too many (so be on the lookout on our big day). Marco and I met when I left Cape Town for Johannesburg in 2014 and became best of friends. We lived together for most of my time in Gauteng. We even had a dog for a while called, Frankie.
