Local Transportation

Uber/Lyft vs. Car Rentals

Our wedding venue, Bel-Air Bay Club, is located very close to the Santa Monica Promenade. The venue itself is only 17 miles away from LAX and the driving time ranges from 20-45 minutes depending on traffic.

Option 1: Uber/Lyft - If you are booking hotel or Airbnb in Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach, or Santa Monica... there is no need for car rentals. You will be able to get around easily via Uber/Lyft especially if you are with a group.

Option 2: Car Rentals - If you are booking hotel or Airbnb near the airport, Malibu, Hollywood, Downtown LA, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Long Beach,  Inglewood, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Orange County, or anywhere further... you are best off in booking a car rental. Especially if you're preference isn't Uber/Lyft. There are a number of affordable car rentals near the airport including Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, Thrifty, etc.

Great news! Our wedding venue Bel-Air Bay Club offers parking during the event. More details to follow as we get close to the wedding date.
