Lush is the Lupini Family's lodge and most of the events, including the ceremony and reception, will be held here.

Lush first opened in 2018 and has 8 bedrooms. Its facilities include a dining area, bar, sunken lounge, boma and wine cellar, gym/spa and its own watering hole! For more information on Lush, please follow the link below.

Lush is located in the heart of Black Rhino which is a private reserve in the Pilanesberg National Park. Lush resides in 55,000 hectares of wilderness which is home to its own Big 5! If you're interested in doing game drives then there'll be plenty of opportunity to over the course of the weekend. 

We will be providing guests three nights accommodation (Thurs-Sun) at lodges on Black Rhino. Each lodge is within a couple of minutes of Lush and has 5 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a pool. The lodges also have their own game vehicles and rangers to take you out on game drives and bring you to/from Lush. We'll be providing details of which lodge guests are staying in closer to the time.

If you're travelling from outside Johannesburg then please arrange flights to OR Tambo International Airport or Lanseria Airport. We would ideally like guests to land by midday on the Thursday to allow enough time to get to Black Rhino for the afternoon game drive.

Lush is located about a 2.5 hour drive away from OR Tambo or Lanseria airports. We'll be organising transfers to Lush on Thursday during the morning until midday. We'll also organise transfers from Lush back to the Johannesburg airports on Sunday. If you're based in/around Johannesburg then you can either make your own way there or you're welcome to meet us at the airports for one of the transfers.

Due to limited space, we can unfortunately only accommodate the children of immediate family.

The dress code for the big day of the wedding is Summer Cocktail Attire. This ideally means suits for men (we'd recommend linen as hopefully the sun will be out in full force!) and something glam for women.

For the game drive on the Thursday think Safari Chic and for the dinner after please wear something smart (ideally shirts for men). 

For the Saturday, we're celebrating the Lupini family's Italian heritage with a Mediterranean theme. What better way to blow off the cobwebs from the night before than sipping on an Aperol Spritz in your finest silks and linen!

Please avoid wearing stilettos/kitten heels for the duration of the wedding weekend to avoid damaging the wooden decking at the lodges. If you need anymore information then please let one of us know. 

All the lodges all self-catered and we will be stocking them up with all the basics as well as food for meals that aren't being held at Lush or on Black Rhino e.g. breakfast the day of the wedding. If you'd like any particular snacks or drinks for in your lodge then you're welcome to bring them with you. Due to the remote nature of the lodges, it won't be possible to buy anything once you've arrived.
