We met on May 10, 2018, at a hookah bar named Amsterdam. I was out for my best friend’s birthday and Adrian came to meet up with some of his friends. Since we share a mutual friend, we were seated in the same area. As I was leaving, Adrian approached me and asked for my number and we have been together ever since.
We had our first date on May 18, 2018, at Copper Canyon. We met up for lunch while we were both teleworking and we have been inseparable ever since!

July 7, 2019 was Nakia's birthday and I took her to brunch at the National Harbor. When we left the restaurant, I suggested we walk down by the Capital Wheel. Our families and friends were all waiting and I POPPED the question and of course Nakia said YES!
It was never a question of if, but always a question of when!
We were truly surprised! The party was so beautiful, our bridal party loved their proposal boxes! It was truly a wonderful evening with our family and friends!
