Hot! Please pack SPF50+. We are expecting the weather will be hot and sunny, ranging between 25-30 degree each day and evening will be milder but still very warm
The full wedding day shall be taking place in Os Agostos, in Santa Barbara de Nexe; a beautiful little Portuguese village in the hills. Its roughly 15 minutes from Faro airport, and 20 mins from our recommended hotels.
Transport is provided on the day for all guests from The Magnolia Hotel (details below):
5:15 PM – Leaving from Magnolia Hotel to Os Agostos.
Please be ready at the front of Magnolia Hotel at 5:00PM sharp for pick-up.
2.00 AM – leaving from Os Agostos to Magnolia Hotel.
If you are arranging your own transportation, please ensure you book your pick up from the venue no later than 2am. The venue is remote and you will not get an UBER at this time of night. Your transport must therefore be pre-booked.
For guests not staying at The Magnolia Hotel, we recommend you download the UBER App as you can easily get picked up from The Magnolia, for onward transport back to your hotel/rental accomodation.
Our wedding day will be outdoors until 10:30 PM, when we will move indoors to party the night away.

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal / Garden Party. We have deliberately chosen to start our wedding in the early evening to limit sun exposure but it will of course be hot so please dress appropriately.
Please avoid wearing pale green.
We understand that not everyone of our guests will be able to make the wedding. However, if you could all still please RSVP by 1st February 2025 so we can get final numbers.
We ask that the ceremony itself is phone-free, but after we say our ‘I do’s’ please snap away and feel free to share them anyway you like.
You will be missed, but we will of course understand!
If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Due to our venue and preference, we have chosen to have a childfree wedding. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We can provide recommendations of childcare (from our trusted local friends who have little ones and can give personal references).
