First day of freshman orientation, I turn around and see this beauty. She was shy and wearing a purple sweater, I smiled and introduced myself with a shocking story, but she was unfazed. I loved her instantly, and we've been inseparable for the last 13 years. Sof has been my rock through the crazy transition from teenage dirtbag to adulting, Burwash dining hall to fine dining, frat parties to... a wedding party. We were very unsure how or when we would grow up, but here we are, and I couldn't have done it without her!

Sagar Bavishi - Suave is an extremely simple expression for a man that embodies so much more. He has been my brother, closest friend, best ever project partner, and confidant since we were 10 years old. His intelligence and personality always light up a room and you can rest assured that your glass will never be empty with him around. Always grateful to him serving as an inspiration, a valuable critic and a brother par none. His presence on this day was confirmed 18 years ago.

Mikhail Shetty - Or 'MAGA' for those who know him. Mikhail was my last roommate before Nicole and hence was an invaluable example of how annoying roomates can be. Jokes! If there were two qualities that stand out about this man is his ability to be absolutely ridiculous while making sure everyone around him has an amazing time and his sheer competitive nature. He has been a friend who has celebrated the ups and held me up through the downs. From growing up together to spending almost every weekend of a 2 year period at home bar, loosing at least 3 months of our entire lives to FIFA or listening to his 'gyan' about life - It's been an eventful ride. This day would be incomplete without him.

Jason Menachery - Or Mena for those that have called him that over the years. Mena is my oldest friend. For those of you who have had the pleasure to know this human - He is the most trustworthy, humble and kind hearted human being, I have ever had the honor of knowing. He is the friend who you do not need to speak to for 6 months but overnight can bear your entire soul to without reservations. His dependability and determination have always served as an inspiration for everyone around him.

Seems like a common theme by now, but this pilot is off the market too.

Roce Ceremony on the Beach. (Time: 5-6 pm)
Roce Reception at the Toucan Gazebo (Time: 6-10 pm)
After Party at Noir (Time: 10:30 pm - 2 am)

Get Richard ready for marriage with this cleansing ceremony. Then watch it turn into a party.

The Roce is a Mangalorean Catholic tradition where the bride or groom is cleansed for marriage with coconut milk and oil, followed by a ritual bath.

In practice, it has been described as a "one-way food fight," and that is what will happen here, the rite of passage whereby the groom must sit still while his friends pour whatever they please onto his head (raw eggs? syrup?). This will be followed by a good dunk in the ocean.

Dinner, drinks, and music are also in order.

Where will Nicole be during all this? Cleansing herself in the North American tradition called "Spa Day."
