Passport/Visa

Your passport needs to have a validity of more than 6 months. US, Canadian and most European passports can obtain a Lebanese Visa upon arrival at the airport in Beirut. 

You can not have any Israeli stamps, visas or seals on your passport or you will be denied entry by the Lebanese authorities.

CURRENCY

The good news is the US dollar is as appreciated as the local currency! 1500 Lebanese Pounds = 1 USD. There are many ATM's around and all major credit cards are accepted pretty much everywhere.

LANGUAGE

Don't speak Arabic? Don't worry, you won't miss our celebration! 
Most people in Lebanon are fluent in English and French.


The weather

Lebanon has a temperate Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers. In July, the temperature will be around 82°F / 28°C during the day and 72°F / 22°C in the evenings.
