Angelique Oquendo
I met Angelique at SUNY New Paltz during our freshman year. At first she thought I was a little bit annoying but very quickly I grew on her and we became close friends. During our sophomore year we pledged for the same sorority, Omega Phi Beta, and after that we lived together for what would be the best years of our lives. We've always had a very close relationship and I know I can count on her for anything. She's the first person I text in the morning and the person who knows me best.
Carmen Rodriguez
I met Carmen sophomore year of high school, I was out of school for a week because I was sick and when I returned she looked at me and said "I thought you got knocked up". We've been friends for over 15 years and I can always count on Carmen to make me careless and enjoy life more.
Claudia Oviedo
Out of all my friends me and Claudia have known each other the longest. She's seen me grow into the person I am today and has always pushed me to be my best. I never expected to have a friendship that would withstand the test of time, but that is why now you are just so much more than a friend—you are family.
Krisly Diaz
My pinks! We met in 2009 and I would've never thought our friendship would develop into what it is now. We have way to much fun together. I love you for being the genuine person that you are and for the laughs, cry and drunk moments you've brought into my life.
Pedro Castro
Pedro has always been like a little brother to me. I've had the privilege of watching him grow up. Having him around taught me how to be a role model.
Jeff Staggers
I met Jeff in 2008 at a gathering and we instantly clicked because of our humor. Throughout the past 10 years he's always been there for me and he motivates me. Jeff will forever be a best friend.
Emmanuel Fleurinord
Emmanuel is my oldest friend, we met in high school when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore and he tried to pick on me. I accidentally broke his thumb and that led to the beginning of our friendship. He is an instrumental part of my teenage years and young adulthood, he's taught me a lot about life.
Matthew Castro
Since I am an only child my mother made sure that I grew up with my cousins. Matthew is four years younger than me and that felt like a huge gap growing up, however, as we got older the gap didn't seem so big and we realized how similar we are. We learn a lot from each other and I have the up most respect for him as a father.
Jeanette Martinez
I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am to have met you in college and continue to have such an amazing friendship with you. I couldn’t think of a better person to ask to marry us. I know you will put your heart and soul and really make sure to capture the essence of our love.
