All begins with a Mangala Snaanam which literally translates to an ‘auspicious bath.’ All pretty women in the house will add their twist of fun to this ceremony of smearing turmeric to cleanse Rajni's body and mind (if you know what i mean :P). Ammamas, Nanammas, Moms, Pinnis, Attas & Akkas will end the show with their world famous Aarti to keep the bride safe from evil eyes through the wedding proceedings.

Henna, a natural medicinal herbal remedy is supposed to cool the body and relieve the Bride of any stress before the D-day. This Green paste is associated with positive spirits & good luck.
