The Ranch gets it's name from Tank Creek, a creek which runs through 170 acres of land and flows into the Pere Marquette River. Rachel's Great Grandparents, Catherine Elizabeth & Harold Russell, purchased the property in 1964 which included several acres along both sides of the Pere Marquette River and two buildings - a home, and another that would be called the Bat House.

Summer's were spent fishing the river, hunting, and enjoying the beauty of the land. 33 years ago, The Ranch became home to Paul, Grandson of Elizabeth & Harold, and Maude Bigford, who raised their three children, Rachel's cousins, there. The magic and beauty of The Ranch has been passed down through several generations, six to be exact, and we are so excited to share it with you this summer.

Paul & Maude, Rachel's Aunt and Uncle who still call The Ranch home, have graciously opened up their doors to host our wedding, which will be the 7th wedding on the property.
