Getting to Austin

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is your best option flying in and out of Austin. It is a 15 minute drive away from the hotel.

Most flights fly out of the main terminal, however some airlines fly out of South Terminal. If you use an Uber or Lyft to/from South Terminal please let your drivers know that you're not flying out of the main terminal. You can find more information about South Terminal here: austinsouthterminal.com/terminal-information/

Traveling in and around Austin

If you ask Dhruv: Uber is obviously the best mode of transportation. It provides you with reliable transportation in the form of rideshare while also giving you the option to utilize electric bikes and scooters. Use the code "fflhc" for a free ride if you're a new user.

If you ask Purvi: Dhruv is biased and Lyft is sometimes the cheaper and better option

Purvi & Dhruv's Favorite Restaurants in Austin

Austin is the land of tacos but it also has a wide variety of other cuisines and restaurants that are worth visiting if you get a chance.

Taco Deli: a fast casual taco restaurant with local and organic ingredients. For those that love a spicy kick be sure to try their Dona Salsa, and if you like beans then be sure to try their black beans!

Torchy's Tacos: another fast casual taco restaurant, but with a creative and unique menu. Be sure to try their Green Chile Queso. You will not regret it.

Trudy's: a nice sit down Tex-Mex restaurant with a wide variety of food. They serve your classic dishes like enchiladas and fajitas, and they also add a few custom creations like Stuffed Avocados. Be sure to try their Mexican Martini, but be careful because it packs a punch.

Via 313: a local Austin pizzeria that serves Detroit Style pizza.

Patrizi's: a fun Italian food truck that whips up fresh pastas. They serve your classic favorites along with some unique and delicious options as well.

Taco Bell: you can't not like this place. It's just not possible.
