FAQs
(Updated: 10/29/2020) Our wedding is currently going forward as planned and we’re excited to spend time with those of you who can make it. We will be certain to follow any state requirements at the time and our venue has put additional sanitary practices in place in regards to bars and food service. Additionally, there will be masks and hand sanitizer available for your use throughout the reception space. However, please understand that requirements change week to week.
As the date approaches and if you are no longer able to, or feel uncomfortable, traveling or attending we understand. If you had previously RSVP'd as attending and have decided you can no longer, please let us know by November 9th at the latest.
When RSVPing please also be certain to provide an email address where we can reach you should any major changes need to be communicated.
We will continue to post any updates here.
For any state specific information, please visit the webpage below. If required, our wedding is taking place in Marion County.
What is the closest airport?
We recommend flying into the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) which is about 12 miles away from downtown Indianapolis. For the many of you flying in from Raleigh, Delta offers direct flights
What is the best way to get around?
Indianapolis has both Uber and Lyft options available 24/7. In the case of heavy snow we recommend requesting an UberXL.
If you wish to rent a car, the airport has access to all major companies.
What hotel do you recommend?
Please see the Indianapolis section listed in the main menu for recommended hotels and other options.
What should I wear?
We can't wait to see you all looking snazzy in your cocktail attire - suits, ties, party dresses, and pant suits!
All events will be indoors but there is a short walk between them and you will want to bring a coat and gloves.
May I bring my children?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate young children at our reception venue. Please let us know if you need assistance finding childcare.
We appreciate your understanding and hope that we have given you adequate time to make arrangements so that you can celebrate with us!
May I bring a guest?
Please refer to your invitation to see how many seats are reserved in your honor.
What is the weather like in Indianapolis this time of year?
For those of you venturing up from the warmer south be sure to pack warm socks and a coat! The average high temperatures are in the 50s and the lows are in the 30s this time of year. There are sometimes pop up snow showers as well!
Will any of the events be outdoors?
Nope! Both the ceremony and the reception will be completely indoors, you may choose to walk between the two though (approximately 1.5 blocks).
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! Please use #PriceToBeHensley
May I take photos?
Please feel free to take photos through out the night! We do ask that during the ceremony you remain seated, keep your phones/cameras below shoulder level, and avoid leaning into the aisle so that we can avoid photos like these! Please also remember that we will be in a house of worship and to be respectful.
We would be more than happy to share the professional photos that we paid for with you after we receive them!
How do I share the photos I took with you?
Please feel free to text them to us or email them to michelleandjaredhensley+photos@gmail.com
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by October 16th!
How do I RSVP?
Once the invitations are sent out, an RSVP section will be added to this website! Then, you can RSVP under the "RSVP" section of the website or by clicking the RSVP ribbon in the top right corner of any page.
When RSVPing please also be certain to provide an email address where we can reach you should any major changes need to be communicated.
Do I need to RSVP for the rehearsal dinner?
Our website automatically knows if you are part of the rehearsal group and will ask you when you RSVP for the main day! Please understand that only the wedding party and immediate families (parents, siblings, and grandparents) are requested at the rehearsal. We can't wait to see you Saturday!
