Entering Italy and EU

Flying into Italy & Travel in the EU

We are watching Embassy Websites for each country: it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/

Entry Restrictions
Under Italian law, travel to and from these countries is permitted without the need for a specific reason (subject to the limitations set out in Italy at regional level). The removal of travel restrictions from Italy to some countries does not exclude that these countries may still impose entry restrictions.

If not on a COVID tested flight or entering from other countries you will need a Green Pass.

Green Pass Needed

A Green Pass Means:
- if you are fully vaccinated;
- if you have a negative Covid test done in the last 48-72 hours;
- if you were affected by Covid in the past, but now you are fine and you can demonstrate it.
