The bay before Kampos, less built up and more chill than Kampos – you can get off the bus and walk down the hill or drive.
A pebble beach with chairs and calm water – cool big rock and a small island in front of you. There is a small beach cantina to get drinks and snacks – reachable by car.
A MUST VISIT! The name says it all; "fine sand". It is a remote, sandy beach that can only be accessed by boat (from skala) or walking 20-30 minutes along a groomed donkey path starting from Diakofti. The water usually has waves depending on the wind that day. Be aware that the path is not covered and can get very hot mid-day! There is a restaurant on the beach where you can get food/beverages. It is also a perfect place for sunset, but you have to make sure to give yourself enough time to walk back to Diakofti before it gets too dark.
Very beautiful beach. Water is calm and there is an island you can swim to if you are a confident swimmer. You will need to drive or taxi here. There is also a great fish taverna to eat at.

There is a castle which doubles as a monastery up in the town of Chora (up the mountain) that was built in the 11th century AD. It is considered the main tourist attraction of the island. The castle itself is definitely worth a visit. The views of Patmos and the surrounding archipelago are stunning. In addition, there is a chapel and artifacts that originate back to the 11th and 12th centuries AD along with frescos on the walls.
If you are interested in more culture, there is also the apocalypse (cave) where John the apostle wrote the book of revelations. There is a monastery there as well which is much less impressive than the main one but may also be something to see if it interests you.
