Welcome to Dallas!
National Anthem
National Anthem offers a varied menu inside a Dallas landmark. This is one of our favorite restaurants to share a casual meal with friends!
Fachini Ristorante
Located in Highland Park Village, Fachini offers great Italian food and service after a day of shopping. We recommend the lobster ravioli and the espresso martinis!
Pecan Lodge
If you are looking to try some Texas BBQ while in Dallas, Pecan Lodge is a Dallas go-to! Pecan Lodge first opened in the Dallas Farmer's Market, but in an effort to please the BBQ lovers, they have opened another location in Deep Ellum. They open at 11am and close when they sell out, so get there early!
Mi Cocina (Klyde Warren Park)
A great tex-mex restaurant with excellent drinks. We recommend the Klyde Warren Park location, right in the middle of downtown Dallas. Do not skip the Mambo Taxi!
Bowen House
Located in a historic home, Bowen House has excellent craft cocktails. If you can plan in advance, we highly recommend booking a cocktail making class!
The Old Monk
A cozy and casual pub, the Old Monk has a large selection of beer on tap and serves some great food!
Katy Trail Ice House
A Dallas staple, this is a great spot to meet a group of friends on a nice day. In addition to excellent drinks, this spot serves up great food. Don't leave without trying a summer beer!
Midnight Rambler
Located underneath the Joule Hotel, the Midnight Rambler is one of our favorite bars in Dallas!
Bishop Arts District
The Bishop Arts District is a fun neighborhood to walk around in search of boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffeeshops and art galleries. There is always something new to discover here and it is a great place to spend the day!
Klyde Warren Park
This is a great urban escape, bridging downtown Dallas and uptown Dallas. There are food trucks (Greek Lover is our favorite!), lots of green space and an illuminated fountain show at 8:45 PM each night.
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
The Arboretum is a beautiful 66-acre botanical garden. It is the perfect place for a picnic, stroll or to just stop and smell the roses! As an added bonus, outside food and drinks (including alcohol) are welcome.
Nasher Sculpture Center
The Nasher Sculpture Center showcases several hundred modern sculptures in the heart of downtown Dallas.
