Our story begins as most do; in a bar. We met during the summer of 2013 at the P.B. Shore Club in San Diego, CA. There was dancing, whiskey, swimming, and maybe even a kiss (or two) ;).
Not long after our senior year started at the University of San Diego, we went on our first date, which was to see The Dave Matthews Band. After that, there was no looking back! We continued to date through our senior year and then our super senior year (thanks mom & dad!). When we finally graduated, Mark moved back to Dallas to pursue his career and Paulina stayed in San Diego to do the same.
For two and a half years, we endured long distance dating. We survived through lots of weekend trips, FaceTime, trust, and effort. It wasn't easy, but we knew that it was worth it.
We finally made the big decision to not only live together, but to move to a brand new city - Denver! For five years, we have called Denver our home. During that time, we have enjoyed all the food, wine, skiing, and the wonderful people we have met. We also adopted a dog, Harper, and if you've met her, you know how amazing and sweet she is!
Then Covid happened... Not since college had we spent more than ten days together. Now, nearly two and a half years later, we have spent almost every part of every day together. Even after all that time, we still love each other! And even decided to get married ;) .
