Getting to San Miguel

Airports

Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO) 

Del Bajío International Airport (BJX)

The center of San Miguel de Allende is about one hour from QRO and about an hour and a half from BJX.

There are direct flights from Chicago to BJX. Most flights to QRO have a short layover from Chicago. 


Mexico City (MEX)

San Miguel is a 3 hr. drive from Mexico City.

We will be starting the celebration with a traditional Mexican parade or "Callejoneada" surrounded by festive flowers, lively music, mojigangas (giant paper mache puppets representing Patrick & Korina) and led by Benito the donkey!

Meet us at the starting point, Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel between 5:30-5:45pm. The Callejoneada ends at our Welcome Party location.

Estaremos comenzando la celebracion con la Callejoneada rodeado de flores festivas, music en vivo, mojigangas (marionetas gigantes de papel maché representando a Patrick y Korina) y dirigido por el burro Benito! 

Encuéntranos en la Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel que será el punto de partida. La Callejoneada terminará en nuestra fiesta de bienvenida que se llevará a cabo en Instituto Allende. 

Dress Code/Código de Vestimenta

Festive & casual. Recommend wearing comfortable shoes/sandals, no high heels!
