FAQs & other important info
We will provide more information via links, brochures, etc as we receive it. This will make your booking process much easier, but you are more than welcome to start anytime! When booking, keep in mind that St Thomas operates on Atlantic Standard Time (AST)
In the meantime, here are the important details we have compiled so far!
-Cyril E. King Airport is a 30 minute drive from our venue.
-We highly recommend pre-arranging all ground transportation - ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are not yet available on St. Thomas. They use taxi services as the primary method of transportation. Please note all island taxis are cash only.
-While cars on St. Thomas are standard American style with steering on the left, visitors should note they also drive on the left side of the road. Keep this in mind before arranging rental cars if you plan to do so!
Do I need a passport to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands?
"If you are a U.S. citizen a passport is not required, but it still serves as the best identification when traveling. Otherwise, you must be prepared to show evidence of citizenship when departing the islands, such as a raised-seal birth certificate and government-issued photo ID.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, then a passport issued by your country of origin is required."
What is the currency in the US Virgin Islands?
US Dollar
Do I need to bring an adapter for my electronics?
Standard 120-volt current is used in the U.S. Virgin Islands. No adapters are required.
What dates should we book for our stay?
We are staying at the Ritz 5/14 & 5/15, and then we plan to rent a villa elsewhere afterwards. We need to speak with the on-site planner & our appointed travel agent to see when the best rates and to finalize some details.
