Weather

July is a popular time of year due to the summer holidays in the Northern Hemisphere.

The trade winds pick up, making some of the less sheltered beaches breezy and bringing temperatures down. In general, average highs are around 23°C.

Surprisingly, the weather in Mauritius is pleasant throughout the year along with the water temperatures in the Indian Ocean that are ideal for swimming as well. Mauritius is considered to be a year-round holiday destination.

July is winter in Mauritius, it is advised to bring a cardigan to keep you warm when the temperature falls in the early evening to nighttime.
