In the summer of 2009, Kristen took on her first summer job as a Rides Associate at Kings Island Amusement Park. Alex at the time was a Rides Supervisor of a highly dangerous ride, Son of Beast, which promptly shut down that same year. Alex was moved over to Kristen’s ride as the new supervisor. The attraction between them was quickly apparent, but since Alex was Kristen’s superior, they couldn’t make it known to the rest of their crew. They began talking and taking things slow, until Alex was offered his first engineering internship. Now they were in the clear to share the news of their relationship with the world!
Travel has become a treasured tradition for Alex and Kristen over the years. In 2018 they embarked on their biggest trip yet, a journey to Thiland. As If this wasn't exciting enough, unbeknownst to Kristen, Alex had a bigger adventure in mind.
It was around mid-trip , after an exciting day of riding motorcyles, eating a fabulous dinner , and swimming off the coast of Phuket. That Alex's heart began to race as he decided it was time.
On the balcony of their hotel while sharing a tender embrace, Kristen could feel a change in the air.
