Heyy everyone this is The Matron of honor aka Big SiS, aka The twin, aka The Best Friend, aka Thy sister's keeper, aka Nneke Smith! I have had the privilege of knowing & growing up alongside side Nazriel for all of our lives and find it extremely exciting to share in this journey down the aisle with her. Over the years we have learned many life lessons together and always have each other's back ( unless we needed to step in front). One of the greatest things we have learned together is the true meaning of Unconditional Love through the bond of sisterhood! Now this journey to and through marriage requires you to choose to love one another beyond the feelings, challenges, and the limitations. I'm proud to have a responsibility to both Naz and Dedric as they make their vows in matrimony! This is going to be a day to remember and I'm ready to celebrate the beauty of their love!

I am Naajean Thomas. The little sister Nazzy never asked for but her favorite little sister to be exact. I am Nazriel's Maid of honor and what a honor it is for me  to be a part of such a beautiful chapter in her life. To know Naz is to know she is a person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I am super thankful that Dedric is committing to hold & help her rock her heart  gracefully for the rest of his life also. My name is Briana Slater, Nazriel and I go way back since we were babies at Bible Based Fellowship Church 23+ years of friendship. From there we have been in dance ministry, sign choir and the KFC/Teens of Praise choir together. It is safe to say that our friendship has grown stronger ever since. It is undeniable that we have kept in touch throughout the years no matter what we were going through, we made sure to make time to be there for each other. Besides, why should now beany different? Coming from the beginning to now seeing her step into this new journey with someone I know will always take care of her, I am beyond excited to be able to be by her side. I can honestly say being friends with Nazriel has truly been a blessing to my life. So, while you go on this journey to becoming a wife, I want you to remember to Live Laugh & Love…It may seem basic, but through the hard times continue to do those 3 things, and most importantly KEEP GOD IN THE FOREFRONT in everything.  You are a strong, and God-fearing woman whose blessings are just arriving. I met Nazzy in 2015, as we were in the process of becoming women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We literally knew nothing about each other and it seems as if we learned everything about each other over night. Although it may seem as if our organization brought us together, I truly believe it was God. She is more than just my linesister. She's always there to guide, protect, and love. She is truly like a sister to me. Although I'm her "back", we have had each other's backs since day 1. I am so grateful to be a part of her life and to be on this journey with her. I can't wait to watch her blessings unfold. My advice: (Ephesians 4:2-3) Conduct yourselves with all humility, gentleness, and patience. Accept each other with love, and make an effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit with the peace that ties you together.

Nazriel and I have known each other for 6 years. We became linesisters back in 2015 and have became best friends since. From spending nights in the house cooking and watching movies, to hitting the road and creating lifelong lasting memories together, to showing up to an event that Chris brown was supposed to be at and he cancelled at the last minute, we’ve been stuck by each other’s side ever since. I’m so happy to not only have you as a linesister or the godmother of my son but to have you as a friend. You have uplifted me and prayed for me during the hardest times of my life and for that I will forever be grateful. Always there to give words of wisdom and sound advice. You encourage and motivate others to be the best self that they can be simply through your actions. I met Dedric as a freshmen in the fall of 2013, we lived a couple doors down from each other. But It was in the fall of 2015 where we built an eternal bond and became brothers, the rest is history. Dedric would go on to meet Naz that following semester and in the summer while living together I watch Dedric fall in love. It happened quick, the way he spoke about her I knew she was the one and I've seen him grow for the better. Dedric is my life long best friend for over 15 years now! Coming into my first year of playing organized basketball I didn’t know what to expect. Going through tryouts and with at least 50 kids that’s been playing for years, talk about being a nervous 10 year old. After try outs coaches started picking their players and of course I was the number 1 draft pick LOL and some kid with the same straight back braids like me came over and said you and me are on my daddy’s team .Didn’t know who his dad was, I was just happy to be on a team with another guy with braids. From since then on when he chose me to be on he and his dad team we became the BRAIDED BROTHERS. 

Being together is just the beginning, keeping together is progress, working together will bring success. A marriage is a gift. It should be opened up and enjoyed like I know you will! CONGRATULATIONS

I remember the first time Dedric told me about Nazzy. “Bro this lil chick feeling me. I might have to get at her” . Hey, my name is Isaac "Zeek" Pinckney, Dedric and I are LB's but, we actually met years back when he was a DJ in college. That’s a while ago but just know, the evolution of himself from then to now is extroardinary! It is really rare to come across genuine people, but that’s exactly who he is. I can recall a rough time in my life, and Dedric, along with my other LB's, were not only there for me, but he helped me get back on my feet, and for that I am forever grateful. Over the years I have learned that he works hard to push others, as well as himself, for the best results. No matter if it was step practice, organizing creative events, or just conversing, Dedric’s light always brought out the best in people. From when he was a DJ, to becoming Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi, to briefly living together; our friendship has developed into a bond that I cherish.
I don’t know much, but I do know that marriage is a sacred vow, not because it's a big deal, but because it's HUGE! This vow you're making is greater than yourself. My name is Aarron Wheeler. I always used to see Dedric at most of Fau’s big events. He also was always at the gym hooping and getting buckets. We really became close when I joined Kappa. I look at Dedric like a big brother and our relationship will forever be strong. I always knew Dedric was a passionate person since the days we use to practice for shows . He always had the eagerness and determination to get everything right and make sure we were in line so we can snap for any show. He always keeps it real and tells me how it is and Ive always appreciated Dedric for that.

Their bond is so strong and admirable and they will forever be blessed. As they go on this new journey of life , I pray for nothing but success and continuous love .
