Our journey started with a strong belief in Jesus, the foundation of our relationship. It was through Him that we met on Dilmil, and what seemed like a simple swipe right turned into a deep and meaningful connection.
Our bond isn’t just about shared interests like sports, music, our love for dogs especially Zeke and April, and our appreciation for great food. Instead, it’s based on a shared purpose that guides everything we do. Our faith shapes how we show love for each other, allowing us to have lively debates about football and basketball teams, find comfort in music and moments with our furry friends, and approach life with gratitude and kindness.
As we start this new chapter of our lives, we’re filled with wonder and thanksgiving for how God brought us together. We’re excited about the journey ahead, trusting in His guidance and walking hand in hand with Him as the main part of our lives. With faith, love, adventure, and the simple joys that make our daily lives better, we’re confident that this is just the beginning of something truly amazing.
I was always so skeptical of match making apps, but in the cloud of profiles out there, I was able to stumble upon my now best friend and partner, Rebecca.
I knew from day one that she was going to be someone truly special in my life by just how vibrant our conversations were. How deeply we spoke about life, faith, goals, aspirations and plenty more. We could tell each other anything and relate in so many ways. We both love sports, music, dogs, movies, the beach, the list is endless! But even if we are so similar in many ways, we also made sure to be our own individuals and help bounce ideas off each other to grow closer and closer.
Although we both live miles and miles apart, just a simple hi on facetime or text put wide smiles on our faces each and every morning. The long distance was tough and gets harder each time, but I know God is instilling patience in both of us so one day we will both be ready to be one in union and in Christ.
As we embark on this new journey, Rebecca and I are beyond thrilled to have spent time together regardless of being over the phone or in person. We don’t take any moment for granted and we continue to anchor each other with prayers and support and our shared love for Jesus Christ.
