Nikole and Kosta first met at Camosun College in 2013. Their first date didn’t happen until 2015. Shortly after that first date at 5th Street Bar & Grill, Nikole received a text from Kosta informing her that he had “already told his whole family she was his girlfriend”. And that was that.
The beginning of the relationship was long distance but the happy couple moved in together shortly after Nikole returned to Victoria.
They fell in love quickly because they both believe family comes first and that you get back what you put out into the universe.
The pair participated in the COVID baby boom. This is when the engagement and the purchase of their first home occurred. Kosta swears he bought the ring before they found out they were expecting (and his brothers back him up on this). Their son Aurelio was born in February 2021.
Although becoming new parents is challenging, the transition brought the two closer as they learned to let go of the small things and focus on the future.
Now Nikole and kosta would go on their third Mexican vacation and have a little too much fun (tequila) at a foam party. Shortly after returning home they found out they were expecting again. In October 2023 they welcomed their twin girls Eliana and Yianoula.
This couple has already experienced some of life’s highest highs and helped each other through some of life’s lowest lows. They make a great team because they know when to be patient and when to push one another. It helps that they are constantly laughing with and at each other.
Nikole & Kosta feel truly blessed with the life that they have built together and, after nearly ten years, are ready to make forever official.
