Raelee's little sister and the second favorite child since December 12 1997. Growing up with her was so much fun, her imagination and artistic ability always amazed everyone around her. Though Raelee could’ve done without her fascination with bugs and lizards. Without her Raelee could not have earned her spot as the Golden Child thus earning her the spot of Maid of Honor.
Katie and Raelee met when they discovered they lived in the same apartment complex their junior year of college. Their friendship blossomed even more when they discovered their mutual love for tequila. Their late night talks and multi hour shopping excursions have shown what a kind and giving person Katie is, and they can’t wait to see where life takes them.
Piper and Raelee have been “best cousins” since they were little kids. Piper's kind and adventurous spirit has made her the best travel buddy; from going to the movies as kids, to China as young adults. From 4th of July celebrations to Raelee cutting chunk out of Piper's hair because “it was too tangled” they have made so many memories together and Raelee couldn’t imagine getting married without her.
Pairs and Raelee met when Paris was a freshmen and Raelee was sophomore through a freshmen leadership organization, Check in Crew. Paris and Raelee share a love for dogs, Lululemon and Aggie football. Paris' parents graciously hosted us each home game at their family tailgate. From our bachelorette/bachelor addiction to Nick coaching her through statistics she has become a lifelong friend.
Shelby is Raelee's cousin and has always been someone she looked up to. Piper (her sister) and Raelee always wanted Shelby to do their hair when they were all together. (Don’t worry you’re off the hook for the wedding day). As much as Shelby probably loved having two kids follow her around, hanging out with her and listening to her talk about high school and college was one of the highlights of Raelee's childhood.
Nick and Daniel have been best friends since they were ten and have grown up playing baseball together. A life long friendship was forged over the years and over countless hours of baseball and super smash bros games played. Nick was at Daniel's house so many weekends he was dubbed “the weekend son” by the Samaniego family. The Samaniego family has been a big part of Nick's life for many years, and we're so excited for them to be a part of our wedding day.
Nick and Jarrod met when Jarrod was a freshmen through the Aggie Gentlemen Society. Nick quickly learned that his jokes were as bad as his hair, and even if no one was laughing he insisted on telling more.
Jarrod's crowning achievement is that he and Nick will go down in Galveston history for winning nine games of beer pong in a row in a single night. Jarrod is a better man than he is a beer pong player, and he is one to best beer pong players out there.
Nick met Daniel through his girlfriend Katie and they instantly became friends. Dry sense of humor and one liners never meshed so well. Their friendship grew stronger through their intense games of uno and trivial pursuit. They've bonded over watching sports games and keeping up with Raelee and Katie. Even though Daniel is an SMU mustang, we’ve accepted him into the Aggie Family.
Nick met Matt through the Aggie Gentlemen Society. Nick can't recall a time that he has seen Matt without a smile on his face. Matt is one of the happiest people Nick has ever met, and Matt makes everyone a better person just by being around them. Nick is proud to say that they have shared the unbreakable bond of being on the same intramural basketball team multiple years. Matt has become one of Nick's best friends and we are so thankful to have him in our wedding
Nick met Michael through the Aggie Gentlemen Society. Over the years Michael has become one of Nick's best friends. Whether they're drinking margaritas by the pool or throwing clubs down the fairway, they're always having a good time. Nick still has much to teach Michael about how to be a good golfer and about how to properly use a wedge as a three iron. Luckily, Nick knows Michael will be a life long friend and they will have many years to practice.
