We will then move across to the Life Grand for a casually lunch upstairs at 2pm.
Nick and Gerald are hosting the lunch, but drinks are for your own account.
If you live in Cape Town then tell your boss that you have a 3 hour dentist appointment. Nick wanted to do it on the Friday but Olivia feared that might turn out like the Hangover film.

We don't want it to sound like an Indian wedding with a 5-day Test Match of organised events - this is just a nominated venue where those who are in town can meet up for sundowners and a casual bite and meet each other.

We are so honoured that you have come all the way to Franschhoek and this is our chance to host you in style.
As with everything in these strange times, things are ever changing and so is the curfew.
Regretfully children are not invited to the ceremony or reception, with the exception of babes in arms. We can help you to team up with other parents / share a babysitter etc.
Dress code: Lounge suits for men. Women to dress as they please with beautiful dresses encouraged. Err on the side of "summery formal" if unsure. Please feel free to wear as much colour as possible and traditional attire is welcomed. It can be chilly in that valley in late Spring so come prepared.
Transport: Uber works moderately well on a Saturday afternoon but not later in the evening. We will be organizing transport from Le Franschhoek hotel that will start in the early afternoon, taking people to the venue and then will run through-out the evening.
Please join us for a lovely cricket match and casual picnic at the oldest ground in the country, Groot Drakenstein, which you have to drive past to leave Franschhoek, so come for a wave goodbye in the least.
South Africa vs England 25-over game will commence at 11am.
Families and picnics encouraged. There is a pool and a bar and the braai will be lit when the match starts for a rolling smorgasbord of hangover-curing cuisine. To keep the festivities up we will have The Rivertones playing some tunes.
Join us for a high five or a drink or linger longer and get involved in the game. If you are feeling lucky, then Honest Gerry might have his bookmaker hat on!
