We completely appreciate that travelling abroad is a big ask, so whilst we would love you to be there, please don't feel under pressure and do what's right for you and your family

Very important note
Google maps directs you to the entrance of the grounds. Once you arrive at this entrance sign (which is a small brown sign), you then need to drive up a track road for a further 4km. When on this track road, you will pass a building on your left before reaching our venue which is 1km further and sign-posted - 'Las Barracas Country Lodge'.

Wedding Day transport

Getting there
Please make your own way to the venue, arriving for 4pm. There is parking at the venue if you are driving. The venue is a little tricky to find and has a further 10-minute drive from the entrance (see above), so please give yourself a bit of additional time for arriving. 

Getting back
We will arrange buses to take you from the venue to taxi-ranks in Santa Ponsa and Peguera - leaving at 2am or 1am if you'd prefer to leave earlier. Let us know in the RSVP what you would prefer.

Can Estades

This place is lovely and a short walk to the wedding venue - ideal if you’re zipping in and out for the wedding and pool party!  Please note that the short walk to the venue is a private road between the two venues, so doesn’t come up on Google maps.

If you would like to stay here or get prices we have reserved the rooms for our guests meaning they don't come up online so you need to contact them directly and mention you are part of the Nelson-Vanner wedding!

Areas close to the venue

These two areas are close-by to the venue, with lots of different accommodation options. On the wedding night we will be running buses to taxi-ranks in these areas. 

Peguera
Our venue owner recommended Peguera as a nearby beach-front area with lots of restaurants and bars. Cala Fornells is also nearby which has a few big hotels. And there is also Port d'Andratx nearby which would be good for a day-trip!

Santa Ponsa
This area looks like a typical 'holiday town / resort'. It's on a beach front and has lots of restaurants, bars and a few clubs! Probably quite a fun area, with a buzz! It's also near to Port Adriano which is a newly developed port with heaps of restaurants.
