Although you are joining us to celebrate our special day, we fully understand that this is also your vacation!

You will need to have a valid passport, and it will need to be valid for at least 6 months upon entering Mexico.

The Mexican currency is the peso. Generally, the sign $ refers to peso prices and any prices quoted in US dollars should be written US$. While it’s easy to withdraw pesos from ATMS using major Visa and Mastercards, it’s best to travel with a small reserve of cash you can exchange at banks or exchange offices if there aren’t ATMS available. Most airlines, stores, restaurants, and hotels accept credit and debit cards.
What you pack depends heavily on the type of trip you’re making. Remember, you’re traveling to a Caribbean climate, which is generally warm but can have some colder days. Take key clothing items that are easy to layer, a pair of beach sandals, and comfortable trainers suitable for walking and exploring the jungle. Other important items include: Sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, insect repellents, a windbreaker and basic medical aid kit.

If you need medical treatment in Mexico and you don’t have travel insurance, you will be responsible for paying for your medical treatment upfront. Even if your current health insurance company offers coverage to Mexico, you might still have to pay before treatment and wait to be reimbursed. Besides health concerns, travel insurance is always a good idea to cover theft or loss of goods.
The resorts are extremely accommodating when it comes to allergies and food sensitivities. We will advise the food and beverage department before arrival.
