It all began in a small town called Punta Arenas, Chile. We met at a wedding which both of us were attending.
During the wedding occasions, we only actually interacted once as she was one of the bridesmaids so it was difficult to chat with her. Post the wedding we managed to stay in contact via messaging apps but we both knew that this journey was not going to end there and it was about to be something which we wanted.
Natasha did play hard to get as most girls do but not long after that we both made the relationship official. The long distance relationship part of it makes things difficult but with Love and Trust we have managed to overcome obstacles to what is a fruitful relationship today.
We made a trip to Bali in December 2018 without Natasha knowing what she was about to experience. On Sunday 23rd at Plataran Ubud the restaurant had specially organized a private romantic dining experience outdoors surrounded by a rice field.
As we walked towards it with the path lit-up with candles, Natasha was taken aback by the beautiful decorations and how it looked. When we got to it, there was a personalized menu with our names on it with a well-planned four course meal including dessert which is Natasha’s favorite part of any meal. Yes, dessert. :) We were taken care of by a private server there while having our meal and some red wine.
While waiting for dessert, he held her hand talking to her about how special the year had been together despite the long-distance relationship. It was right after this he “popped the question”. She was so pleasantly surprised and of course she said YES!
Finally he could take a breather and it was time for some dessert and champagne to celebrate. Although this special night was coming to an end, our life together as one was off to a beautiful start.
